Ohio born and raised, I lived for over a decade in the greater Washington, DC area before returning home to Northeast Ohio with my growing family.
I was working as an oncology nurse when my first child was born and although I had planned to exclusively breastfeed, we struggled and stumbled. I did a lot of things that made it harder on myself and I can help you avoid some of those same mistakes.
After becoming comfortable and confident with breastfeeding, I decided I wanted to support and empower parents in their breastfeeding experiences. I set my sights on becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
I am a mama of four. And I’ve been breastfeeding since March 2014 - yup that’s right, I’ve been breastfeeding one or the other of my four babies for over TEN YEARS! That’s about a bazillion hours of personal breastfeeding experience plus my clinical knowledge all available to you.
Breastfeeding my children has been the pleasure of a lifetime and I look forward to helping you meet your goals with feeding your child.
