Is feeding your baby harder than you expected?

It was for me too.

It’s why I became an IBCLC.

I’ve spent over 10 years breastfeeding my own kiddos and hundreds of hours studying human lactation.

I’ve got you.

Expecting?

  • You don’t have to become a lactation expert to feed your baby but there are some things that will help if you know ahead of time.

  • You’ve got options!

Read about it on a blog, take a class either online or in-person, or get a prenatal consult for personalized support.

  • Peer support is ESSENTIAL to your motherhood experience. But our society hasn’t made it easy to build a village of support. Joining a moms group like MilkClub, while you’re expecting is normal and you would be welcomed and encouraged by what you can learn ahead of baby’s arrival. Get on the mailing list to learn about the next MilkClub meeting.

What is an IBCLC?

IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

An IBCLC is a healthcare professional who specializes in the clinical management of human lactation and breastfeeding. The IBCLC certification is the gold-standard in professional lactation support, requiring the most classroom and hands-on education and experience of any breastfeeding support certification.

Breastfeeding is an art and a science; IBCLCs specialize in both.
